Magenup Adult Riding Group

Magenup Adult Riding Group holds monthly clinics, closed shows and dressage days - and on occasion - open events too.

Our aim is to give riders a pleasant day out with their horses, the opportunity to learn some extra skills, compete if they wish, and meet other adult riders with similar interests.

2008 sees MARG join ARCA for the first time also!

When you book a spot for a clinic you MUST PAY at the time of booking. Bookings WILL NOT be accepted without payment.

The ARCA Autumn challenge held at the Wanneroo Pony Club grounds was a huge success. Please see the Shows page for more information. Photo's will be in the gallery soon.

Due to lack of available organisers we have had to postpone the dressage day from June to August 24th. This now puts our dressage day the week before the ARCA challenge. We are offering the prep 2, prelim 1.2, prelim 1.3, novice 2.2, novice 2.3 and elementary 3.1 tests. The tests can be downloaded from either the Shows or Downloads pages.

The next ARCA challenge is a dressage day being held on Sunday August 31st. Please see the Shows page for more information.

We are in the process of organising a Social Event for the club. We are looking at Saturday June 28th, starting at 7pm. Location and finer details are still being organised. Please check back soon for more information.

An email has been sent out with Member Profile sheets. If you would like your profile on the website please fill it in and return it to Beth ASAP. If you would like a photo included with your profile please send it as a SEPERATE attachment, if it is in the word document, I can't get it out so it MUST be SEPERATE. Please send it as a .jpg or .gif file if possible.

As the April clinic will be running from 8.30am to 3.00pm, there will be a FULL canteen open and running throughout the day.

Expressions of interest are being sought for jumping lessons in the afternoon of the May and June clinics. We will cater for all levels, from never jumped before, through to experienced jumpers (I'm going to have a go and Honda and I just trip over trot poles!!!). Please email info@magenup.com if you are interested in having a jumping lesson.

Insurance Note For Members Attending Other Horse Events: MARG is an EFA Affiliated club. So if you attend any shows run by the EFA or EFA Affiliated clubs then you are NOT required to pay insurance for the day. If you are sending entires in before the show day then send a photocopy of your membership card. If entries are on the day then take your membership card with you and show when you enter the show.

But please note, if the show is run by an AON insured club then you will be required to pay insurance. Some other examples of AON insured clubs are the Paint Horse Association, QH Association, Appaloosa Association. These clubs are NON-EFA AFFILIATED clubs so your insurance through MARG will not cover you for events run by AON Insured clubs.
